Microphone Windshields

Buy microphone windshields online and get the low online price while enjoying the large selection. Windshields for microphones are often used in environments with a lot of wind noise, or to eliminate "popping S sounds" if the microphone is a bit too close. Also, check out our pop filters, which are used to remove "popping P's," often experienced along with S sounds.

We have done quite a few podcast recordings using various types of microphones - among others, we have tried a USB microphone for PC and actually also a wireless microphone, which has a small integrated foam cover over the microphone. We never thought much about it until we recently bought some wireless headsets that did not have windshields over the microphone - and we could thus determine that a windshield is a must-have for the microphone, especially if outdoor recordings are to be made. It can also help with microphone stability if you attach your microphone to just a cheap microphone stand so it stays still during recordings.
