Blue Wheels

The transport wheels are referred to in the event industry as blue wheels, as most types of professional transport wheels are indeed blue, hence the term blue wheels which are available both with and without brakes.

Transport Wheels with Brake

You can purchase the transport wheels both with and without brakes. For a "normal" setup where the transport wheels need to be mounted under a flight case or a subwoofer, you use 2 wheels without brakes and 2 transport wheels with brakes.

Installing a pair of transport wheels with brakes is probably almost unavoidable if you need to take your cases or equipment on a transport in a car. If the transport wheels do not have brakes, they will slide around and damage your equipment.
