Accessories are an essential part of every guitarist's setup, which is why we always have a large selection of electric guitar-related accessories. All guitarists need to regularly change their strings, fill their pickup assembly, and replace worn guitar straps. This applies whether you have an electric guitar or a regular acoustic guitar. For performing musicians, a hard case or at least a guitar bag is crucial.
Must-Have Accessories for ALL Guitarists
Whether you play acoustic or electric guitar and no matter how new you are to the instrument.
The 4 things you need right away are:
1. Choose the right plectrum
Although not all guitarists use picks - most do.
So until you discover something else, you should assume that you will too.
And when you first start, any choice will literally be fine. There is no wrong choice.
But... as you become more advanced and your playing style becomes more refined, it definitely helps to find the right pick that suits your playing best.

2. Guitar straps
Just like with plectrums, guitar straps are something that everyone needs. Except for an acoustic guitarist playing seated... always.
But since it's very likely that one already comes with your guitar, there really is no reason to worry about an upgrade for a while.
For the most part, a strap is a strap, as long as it can hold your guitar up while you play.
But if you are unfortunate enough to have a strap that for whatever reason does not fit you, it is infinitely annoying. And that's all you think about until you find a replacement, so it would be a wise decision to buy an extra one that you can keep at home in a drawer.

3. Guitar strings
Even though your guitar comes strung and probably also tuned, one of the biggest mistakes new guitarists make is believing that it lasts and that they won't need to think about these things going forward. Learning to change your own strings should be one of the very first things new guitarists learn to do before they even learn their first chord. If they don't learn it, they will continue to use the same old strings for as long as they possibly can. So when the strings finally break, they have no choice but to learn it. 4. Guitar tuners
Tuning a guitar is another important skill that many beginners actively avoid learning. Simply because it doesn't seem nearly as fun as just playing the guitar. But what they don't realize is: If your guitar is not in harmony when you play, it will DEFINITELY not be fun at all. So it is definitely something that beginners should learn to do before they ever play their first chord.
To do this, you will of course need a guitar tuner.
