Zoom F8nPro

The Zoom F8nPro 10-track recorder is an excellent portable multi-track recorder, ideal for serious filmmakers and sound professionals.

8 super quiet inputs with 8 XLR/Jack inputs for the 10 tracks with accurate time code for audio/video synchronisation.

Possibility of quality recordings up to 32 bit/192 kHz and with the impressive specifications including the extremely low noise level and very high gain.

For accurate audio and video synchronisation, the F4 uses a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that generates time codes with 0.2 ppm accuracy - even when switched off! The F4 supports all standard drop-frame and non-drop formats, and can synchronise with time codes from other devices. Standard BNC connector.

Advanced on-board limiters provide overload protection on all inputs and outputs, and allow you to record audio in a wide variety of environments. Limiting can be applied simultaneously in full resolution with 10 dB headroom and with the option of setting threshold, attack, and release.

Zoom The F8n is also suitable for recording audio in VR formats including Ambisonics. Inputs 5 and 6 can act as camera returns for monitoring the camera's audio signal.

The intuitive front panel with a clear 2.4" LCD screen that can be used in both dark and bright sunlight, provides access to TC Jam, Trim Link, Clear Clip and other important shortcuts.

The built-in mixer has everything you need in the field: pan and input/output delay, highpass filter for noise and wind reduction, phase inversion and mid-side decoding

The F8n comes with a camera adapter, a DHC-1 DC-HIROSE adapter, an AC adapter and download codes for Cubase LE and Wavelab LE software.
