10 dB pad + 80 Hz hi-pass filter
The Audio-Technica ATM450 has a switchable pad of 10 dB, which reduces the sensitivity of the microphone and provides higher SPL capability. An 80 Hz hi-pass filter allows you to use a frequency response of 40 - 20,000 Hz.
